Paying For Health: It’s Your Choice.
Diet and exercise today…dollars you may not have tomorrow.

With everyone talking about health care reform lately I thought I'd put an article I wrote a while ago back up. What I find interesting is that the focus seems to be providing health care to everyone. I think that's an admirable goal but what I find disturbing is that I don't hear much discussion about people taking responsiblity for their health. Go ahead and pound down those Big Macs with a quart of Pepsi and a pound of french fries every day because when your arteries clog and you have a heart attack, hey, no worries because we all have health care coverage now. There's no need to take personal responsibility for our health when big brother is hear to take care of all of us.
If there are no consequences for bad choices, there's no incentive to change. I think health care for all is a humane goal for our country. However I believe that cost should have some relationship to the effort people make to take care of themselves. In our current system the following article discusses some of the hard decisions an unhealthy lifestyle forces on some people. continue article »

"Starvation diets are not the way to go. Over the years I was on many of them and each time I gained the weight back and then some. Over the years the fat just stayed on. I started PFA because I was desperate to lose and feel healthy. With much skepticism I started and low and behold I started losing. Ten pounds were gone by the end of Conditioning and I felt great and my old clothes were fitting. Now in FB for a few weeks and have noticed changes in my shape rather than my weight. Down to another set of old clothes!! Start now and you will be just that much further by March. Good luck! "
