Peggy Pringle 's Story...
Last December, I received an e-mail from Ric about the Physique Transformation Program and the Personal Food Analyst. I don’t exactly remember what the e-mail said, but I remember, that I had come across this program a few years earlier, downloaded the e-book and thought the program make sense but, I wasn’t mentally ready for it at the time. What was different this year? Despite using a nutrition-tracking program in the past, I was back close to my heaviest weight, feeling miserable and knew if I didn’t do something different. I would be 10 pounds heavier at this time next year, wearing larger pants and feeling more miserable. I had always been heavy, even in high school. I had limited success with losing weight, but would hit a wall, start having food cravings, and not be able to go any further and slowly put the weight back on. After reading the updated e-book, some things intrigued me. I’m a nurse and I liked the idea that the program tracked nutrients and graded you on your choices, which would make sure I had a balanced healthy diet, while keeping me accountable. I felt that the way the program raised your calories initially during conditioning and how it rotated your calories during fat burning would help me not hit a wall like I had several times before. I liked the idea of a maintenance phase that would help me learn how to maintain my progress. I took the plunge and signed up and did the diet analysis. I knew my diet was bad, but I didn’t realize how bad. I thought I was making some good choices with what I ate, but looking in the mirror, looking at the scale, which read 207 pounds, and having a 45.2% body fat told me otherwise. The program generated a program for me; based on my diet analysis and the goals I gave it. It was a good thing the program had more faith in me than I had in myself. With the program, you have the power to amaze yourself. I set a modest goal of losing 32 pounds to get to 175 pounds, a weight I had been able to maintain for a year or so in the past. I thought I’d be lucky if…. I could get to that number. The program gave me a program of 7 weeks of conditioning and 22 weeks of fat burning to get to 175 pounds. I was amazed when I got to 175 pounds right on schedule. Since I was feeling good with the program and not having food cravings, I decided to stick it out longer and see how far I could go. Once again, I thought I’d be lucky if…. I could get to 159 pounds, a weight that I had gotten to once in my adult life. I hit that number for my 40th birthday in September. At this point, my goals have changed from a specific weight number to getting to a healthy body fat percentage. I haven’t made it there yet, but with this program it is definitely possible. And I no longer think I’d be lucky if…. I have complete confidence I will get there. In early November, after 36 weeks of fat burning, my progress was slowing, I was starting to have some food cravings and I felt it my body was telling me it was time to take break. I switched to maintenance. As I’m writing this, have finished my 3rd week of maintenance and am continuing to lose weight despite, raising my calories. I now weigh less than I did when I graduated high school. When I look at my pictures, the change is amazing. It looks as if I went on one of the television shows and had plastic surgery or some other surgery to achieve these results. I can assure you that none of the changes is due to any surgery whatsoever. I can hardly believe it myself. It takes time for the mental image of yourself to catch up with reality. This program surpassed my expectations, and it can exceed yours if you give it a chance, but it is not a quick fix program. When I get compliments on the weight I have lost, I emphasize that it was not quick or easy, I have been working at it for over 11 months now. When I started the program, I did not have illusions that it would be a quick fix. I knew that for weight loss to be healthy and maintainable that 1 to 2 pounds per week is the way to go. Next year at this time, will you be happy with the progress you have made with your body or will you be wishing you had done something different and made a change? The two biggest keys to success are making the decision to get started and then continuing with the program day after day.
